The Order status

After placing your order with us, the status of your order can be followed at any time with "My orders" in your account. The following statuses are applicable (in order of sequence):

New order

The initial status for a new order.

 

Awaiting payment

Waiting for the payment to be successful, after which your order will be processed. Only with bank wire payment methods, this could take a few business days to show up in our bank account.

 

In Backorder

(backorder only)

When one or more products in your order are not in stock, they will be placed in backorder with the manufacturer. Production of your order has not been started yet.

 

In Backorder *delayed*

(backorder only)

The products in backorder with the manufacturer have encountered a delay in processing at the manufacturer. Production of your order has not been started yet.

 

In Production

(backorder only)

Production of the products in your order has been started at the manufacturer.

 

In Production (shipping est. dd-mmm)

(backorder only)

This will show the estimated date on which we expect to ship out your order from our depot. We regularly check with the manufacturer when production could be ready for transport to our depot. Based on their estimation and taking into account the time it usually takes for the transport to arrive at our depot, we show this estimated date as a service to you.

 

In Production (shipping to depot est. dd-mmm)

(backorder only)

This will show the estimated date on which the manufacturer expects to ship out your order to our depot. Sometimes it is not possible to estimate precisely how much time the transport will take from the manufacturer to our depot. This is usually the case with transports coming from Japan. We do regularly check with the manufacturer when production is ready for transport to our depot. Based on their estimation we show this estimated date as a service to you.

 

In Production *delayed* (shipping est. dd-mmm)

(backorder only)

This will show the new estimated date on which we expect to ship out your order from our depot. We regularly check with the manufacturer if their estimation of "production ready" is still viable. Sometimes the manufacturer has some delay in processing all the orders they received from all over the world.

This could occur especially during (national) festivities, (national) holidays and promotional periods for retail/e-Commerce (e.g. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, Summer holidays et cetera). Please be patient, your order will be ready shortly.

 

En route from factory to our depot (from dd-mmm)

(backorder only)

When production of your order has finished and the manufacturer has shipped out to our depot, this is indicated with this status. The indication 'dd-mmm' shows the date on which the order is shipped out to our depot.

 

En route from factory to our depot *delayed* (between dd1/dd2-mmm)

(backorder only)

When production of your order has finished and the manufacturer has scheduled to ship out to our depot, this is indicated with this status. The indication 'dd1/dd2-mmm' shows the dates between which the order will be shipped out to our depot. The hold-up could either be at the supplier or the shipper's depot in the country of origin.

This status rarely occurs, but could occur during (national) festivities and (national) holidays. Please be patient, your order will be ready for shipping out shortly.

 

Arrived at our depot

(backorder only, optional)

When your order has arrived at our depot. Usually this status is only shown when the arrival happened at late hours and the drop-off places at our delivery partners are already closed. Preparation of your order will begin the next (possible) day.

 

Ready for shipment

When your order was in stock or has arrived at our depot shipped over from the manufacturer, we start preparing your order. After this is done, your order is ready to ship out.

As a webshop with typically broader opening times, it can happen that preparation of your order has finished after the closing times of the physical drop-off places of our delivery partners. Your order will then be shipped out the next (possible) day.

 

Shipped

When your order has been shipped out to you. A track & trace code will be sent to you by e-mail with which you can follow the delivery of your shipment.

Backorder delivery times (scheduled versus actual)

For backorders the actual delivery time can sometimes be shorter than scheduled, such as mentioned with the product. This is possible due to the production window with the manufacturer, in which we are still able to bring in new backorders before this window closes. However this possibility does depend on the type and number of products in the new backorders, as well as the current stock supply with the manufacturer. Some products simply require more production time than others.

This does not apply to every manufacturer though, but in general it does so for the carbon products from Koshi Group.
